The AVID trip for Freshmen and Sophomores is Thursday, April 15th to Elon and Alamance Community College. The cost is $9 & they will need to bring a bag lunch and eat on the bus on the way back. Money is due to Ms. Rich by Friday, March 26.
Sophomores and Juniors have been called to our Student Services over the last few weeks to receive a code that can be used at the College Board’s website to practice their SAT’s. Please see the link in the Blog roll “PSAT help - College Board”.
AVID will be accepting applications through early February for any student currently in 8th, 9th or 10th grade.
If you are currently a 9th or 10th grader, here is the application paperwork needed for the process. Please be aware that you need 2 teacher recommendations in order to apply.
All applications and other paperwork should be turned in to Ms. Jennifer Nauss in guidance as soon as possible. Students will be called for interview by an AVID Site Team member.
